BC Association of Student Activity Advisors (BCASAA) A leadership resource for British Columbia advisors and students. Conferences are listed and good resources are available here
Alberta Association of Students' Councils and Advisors The official website of AASCA was launched in February 1999. It is regularly updated with conference and advisor information.
Saskatchewan Association of Student Council Advisors Shows the upcoming, and past Provincial and National Student Leadership Conferences, SASCA Fly-ins, CASAA Reports, a Message Board for the exchange of ideas, plus Leadership Quotes.
Manitoba Association of Student Activity Advisors The mission of MASAA is to promote and develop student leadership and student activities within Manitoba schools. Check out their website for contact info and the latest conference information.
Ontario Peer Helpers' Association The Ontario Peer Helpers' Association provides a network for all the peer helper programs in Ontario. Provincial conferences are offered for elementary and secondary peer helpers. OPHA also offers workshops on peer mediation, anti-bullying, racial diversity, communications and peer helper training.
Quebec Association of Student Activity Advisors
QASAA is a non profit, volunteer, provincial association dedicated to
promoting and developing student leadership and student activities
within Quebec high schools. Established in 1990, our association is
composed of a caring and energetic group of Quebec’s high schools
student activity advisors, interested in training effective and
visionary student leaders for the future.
Nova Scotia Secondary School Students' Association
The NSSSA is student-run high school leadership organiztion. The
objective is to promote servant leadership in a safe heroic environment
through motivation, inspiration and demonstration by developing life
skills. The NSSSA organizes regional conferences and a main Provincial
conference. These are all directed towards senior high school students
from Grades 10 to 12.
American Leadership Organizations
National Association of Student Councils (U.S.A.) You will find resources, message boards, ideas and other information to help all student councils become more effective organizations. Programs include: conferences, workshops, leadership camps for students and advisers.Excellent monthly publication-Leadership for Student Activities as well as resource books on student activites, leadership education and community service.
National Honor Society & National Junior Honor Society (U.S.A.) encouraging excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character, this website includes a wealth of good information and resources.
National Youth Leadership Council
For more than two decades, NYLC has led a movement linking youths,
educators, and communities to redefine the roles of young people in
society. That movement is service-learning, and it empowers youths to
transform themselves from recipients of information and resources into
valuable, contributing members of a democracy.

Oregon Association of Student Councils is a non-profit member association, serving middle and high schools throughout the state. They provide leadership development to both students and advisors. Their program is sponsored by the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators.
Texas Association of Student Councils The Texas Association of Student Councils is a non-profit organization serving high school and middle level student councils in Texas. Sponsored by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, TASC is the Texas Affiliate of the National Association of Student Councils. Its purposes are to develop leadership abilities in students, promote democracy as a way of life and establish and uphold high standards for local councils.
Wisconson Association of Student Councils The Wisconsin Association of School Councils, Inc. is deeply committed to the continuation and expansion of leadership development and student responsibilities in schools and to assisting school councils in meeting these commitments.
HOBY This is the main site for Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership. Thousands of men and women have participated or volunteered in Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) programs, making it America's premier youth leadership development program. Started in 1958 by legendary actor Hugh O'Brian, the HOBY program nationally reaches out to every public and private high school — as well as conducting HOBY-style programs internationally including efforts in Bolivia, Canada, Mexico, China, Korea, Taiwan and Israel.

Leadership Teacher This site is run by Lyn Fiscus and is a fantastic source of information for leadership teachers and activity programs. Lyn was the editor of Leadership magazine and has a wealth of experience to help on any student leadership topic. You will find resources and ideas to download and use immediately in your leadership class or program.
The Students Commission is a non-profit organization that is organized by youth and youth friendly adults. Co-founded in 1991, the Students Commission was brought to be by Tiny Giant Magazine, Optimist Clubs and youth. To better the lives of youth in our communities, provinces and country, the Students Commission holds an annual youth-driven conference where information and data is presented from research projects nation-wide. With information being presented to the Prime Minister, Governor General, cabinet ministers, provincial leaders, business, education and labour leaders across Canada, new ideas and solutions are implemented to create a more youth-friendly environment and give youth new opportunities.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive training program for community youth leaders. Global Institute for Leadership and Civic Development
The Global Institute for Leadership and Civic Development (GILCD) is an
organization dedicated to providing new skills and opportunities for
young persons so that they can become active and responsible citizens in
this global community. In 1999, we started as a small grassroots
organization. In the summer of 2000, we launched our first pilot
program: the Global Leadership Program in Prague. Since then, we have
educated hundreds of students from over 45 different countries.
