The Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC)
CSLC is Canada's most exciting and longest running national student leadership conference
Imagine 200 leadership advisors and 600 students gathering in an action-packed three days to learn leadership skills and activities, make new connections from across the country, exchange ideas and have fun! These student leaders and advisors learn from each other as well.
That happens every year at the national CSLA Leadership Conference where student delegates are billeted by host families to gain a deeper understanding of their host province.
This year’s conference is being held in Montague, PE and features Phil Boyte, General Rick Hillier, Martin LaTulippe, and Jessi Cruickshank as keynote speakers. Throughout the conference, students will attend a series of workshops to further develop their leadership skills, build confidence, and discover new ideas to help them make difference in their own schools and communities. From workshops on school climate, to personal growth, to student council democratic initiatives, delegates choose which sessions appeal most to them. In addition to those sessions, the CSLC program includes spirit groups, cultural moments, community outreach, and special events.
