CONSENSUS ON
CONSENSUS
EXERCISE
-
Consensus is the goal of group decision-making, but the difficulty in achieving
true consensus is often not explored. Students are given the following five
questions to complete individually. Groups of 4-8 people are selected. Each
person presents their individual reasons behind their selected number. The
group then attempts to come to a consensus on which answer is most
representative of the group.
When you are in a group and a decision has to be made, to
what extent do the following statements express your beliefs?
